Highly acclaimed Nigerian designer, Ituen Basi‘s eclectic elegant pieces will be on show at the Dubai Malls’ ‘Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience’ on October 10.

This is the largest global fashion event in Dubai and has Vogue Italia‘s Franca Sozzani  stamp of approval:

The Saudi Gazette concurs that this fashion extravaganza will connect Dubai and the Middle East to the international fashion scene.
The event will bring fashionistas and connoisseurs from across the world, for a first-of-its-kind celebration that will highlight Dubai’s role as an unmatched meeting ground, fashion capital and an incubator for emerging talents. The talented Lagos-based designer passed Vogue Italia‘s strict international standards and will star alongside the:  Qatar’s Wadah Al Hajri, Kuwait‘s Mohammed Ashi, Saudi Arabia‘s Razan Alazzouni,  Lulwa Al Amin from Bahrain,  Simone Rocha from Ireland, Italy‘s Andrea Incontri and Esme Vie from Russia. They are indeed the perfect 8! The event will be held at the Fashion Catwalk in The Dubai Mall, and will also be screened across the mall’s multimedia displays. to an  Displaying to an expected audience of over 400,000  or alongside Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Armani, Valentino, Giambattista Valli, Chanel, Dior, Elie Saab, Jean Paul Gaultier and Givenchy did not seem daunting as Ituen Basi admits:
